I've bought Crestron gear on EBay (Touch screens, receiver, control processor) and have been able to keep my Crestron software up-to-date using the built in update facility. I originally got software back in the day when it wasn't restricted to Crestron accredited programmers. I've set up a simple system to automate the running of my HT.
