Authorities have identified two pilots who died after their helicopters collided midair in southern New Jersey.
Two pilots were killed when two helicopters collided midair and crash-landed in Hammonton, New Jersey, on Sunday morning, authorities said. The Hammonton Police Department told Fox News Digital that it had received calls of an aviation crash at approximately 11:25 a.m. local time involving two helicopters in the area of the 100 block of Basin Road.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said the helicopter pilot, identified as a 59-year-old man from Queen Creek, and three women who were his family members, died in the crash. One woman was 22 and the other two were 21. The names of the victims were not immediately released to the public.
Search and rescue operations are underway in the Arizona mountains where a helicopter crash occurred late Friday morning, according to authorities.
