NASA's "New Horizons" spacecraft to pass by Pluto

On Jan 1, 2019, New Horizons flew by the farthest object ever explored by human spacecraft. 2014 MU69, officially named Arrokoth, is a binary asteroid, which means it’s two things that fused together.
