U-Tapao International Airport announced on its website that today, May 12, it has received eight diverted flights at its facility in Ban Chang District, Rayong Province. The diversions were caused by heavy rain and unstable wind conditions affecting destination airports such as Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi, where both arriving and departing flights have been forced to circle in the air. Long-haul flights have had to make fuel stops at U-Tapao before continuing their journeys. #Utapao #rayong #tha
