The Norsey Wood Society have been carrying out vital coppicing work and this will continue to the end of the year. Coppicing involves periodically cutting trees, allowing them to regrow from the stumps. As a result, numerous shoots will rapidly regrow in the following Spring 🌱 This work is important as it benefits, not only the trees themselves, but the local wildlife as well, helping our borough’s biodiversity thrive 🐛🐦 Thank you to the Norsey Wood Society for their amazing volunteer work.
