Last week our volunteers and staff took Cora for his first sea swim of 2024! 🌊🐢🤿 Sea swims are one form of enrichment we provide for some of our turtle patients at the Turtle Conservation in the Maldives! As it is safe for us to take our buoyant turtles out to sea, we use this form of enrichment to allow them extra exercise swimming against currents, provide them with visual stimulation, and encourage them to attempt to dive.
